Publish your first page from Claude Code
Connect MintPage once, then ask Claude to turn anything it writes into a page with a link you can send to anyone.
What you'll end up with
A real web page made from your own content, for example a README summary or a meeting recap.
- A public link that works on any device
- Tables, code and headings rendered cleanly
- A preview card when you paste the link in chat
Connect MintPage
30 sIn a terminal, add MintPage as a remote MCP server. Without a key you are a guest: 3 pages a day that last 24 hours, which is perfect for trying it.
$ claude mcp add --transport http mintpage https://mintpage.ai/mcpCheck that it's connected
10 sList your MCP servers. You should see mintpage. If Claude Code was already open, start a new session so it picks up the new tools.
$ claude mcp list
# mintpage should appear in the listAsk Claude to publish something
45 sTalk to Claude normally. It decides on the title and formatting, then calls the publish_page tool.
Behind the scenes, the tool call looks like this:
publish_page({
title: "Repo overview",
content: "# Repo overview\n\n| Command | What it does |…",
format: "markdown",
theme: "paper"
})Open the link
5 sClaude replies with the URL. Open it, share it, paste it in Slack. Guest pages expire after 24 hours.
Optional: add a free key
1 minA free key gives you 10 live pages that last up to 7 days, view stats and editing. Get one by email at mintpage.ai/start, then reconnect with the key in a header.
$ claude mcp remove mintpage
$ claude mcp add --transport http mintpage https://mintpage.ai/mcp \
--header "Authorization: Bearer mp_…"Troubleshooting
Claude says it doesn't have a MintPage tool
Run claude mcp list. If mintpage is listed, start a fresh Claude Code session; tools load when a session starts.
"Guests can mint 3 pages per 24 hours"
That's the guest limit. A free key raises it to 10 live pages; Pro gives 500.
My page is gone
Guest pages last 24 hours and free pages up to 7 days. Pro pages stay up for as long as you're subscribed.
Where to go next
Ask Claude to "keep the same page updated". It uses update_page and the URL stays the same.
Say "make it dark". Three themes: paper, ink and terminal.
Pro is $5 a month: permanent pages, custom slugs and no badge.
