Make Claude publish a page, not a paste
Add MintPage as a custom connector in Claude.ai, Claude Desktop or mobile, sign in once, and ask Claude to publish any answer as a live, shareable page.
Claude writes the report, the comparison table, the meeting summary, the explainer for your parent. Then it sits in a chat window that only you can see, and the person who needs it gets a screenshot or a paste. MintPage is a custom connector for Claude.ai, Claude Desktop and the Claude mobile apps that gives Claude one more ability: publish this as a page. One tool call, one link, and the page keeps the headings, tables and code blocks intact.
Connect Claude (with your account)
MintPage supports sign-in over OAuth, so there is no key to copy and nothing to paste into a settings file.
- In Claude, open Customize → Connectors → + Add → Add custom connector.
- Name:
MintPage. URL:https://mintpage.ai/mcp/account. Leave the client ID and secret empty. - Claude opens a MintPage page. Enter your email, open the sign-in link it sends, and press Allow. A new address gets a free account the moment the link is opened; nothing is created before that.
- In a chat, press + → Connectors and switch MintPage on, then ask: "Publish this as a page and give me the link."
The connector is tied to your account, so pages you publish from Claude show up in your dashboard next to pages from any other client. Access tokens last 24 hours and refresh on their own for 90 days; removing the connector in Claude ends the access.
Connect Claude (as a guest)
To try it without an account, add the connector with the URL https://mintpage.ai/mcp and Authentication: No sign in. Guests get 3 pages a day, each lasting 24 hours, and no dashboard. Ask Claude to "check my MintPage account" first: get_account shows the plan and the pages left without spending one.
What to ask Claude
- "Turn your last answer into a page." Claude calls
publish_pagewith the Markdown it just wrote and returns amintpage.ai/p/…link. - "Make it dark." Adds
theme: "ink". The other themes arepaper(light) andterminal(dark, monospace). - "Keep the same page updated as we go." Claude reuses the
page_idwithupdate_page: the link never changes, the content does. Needs an account. - "Expire it after the meeting." Adds
expires_in_hours: 3. - "Keep this one up for good."
mint_pagespends one mint and makes the page permanent. On Pro, every page already is.
Example call
What Claude sends when you ask for a page:
{"name":"publish_page","arguments":{"title":"Vendor comparison — CRM options","content":"# Vendor comparison\n\n| | HubSpot | Pipedrive | Attio |\n|---|---|---|---|\n| Starting price | $20/seat | $14/seat | $29/seat |\n| Email sync | Yes | Yes | Yes |\n| API | REST + webhooks | REST | REST + GraphQL |\n\n**Recommendation:** Pipedrive for a team of five with a simple pipeline.","theme":"paper","byline":"Prepared by Claude"}}
The result is a URL and a page_id. Claude replies with the link; recipients need no account to read it, and the preview card shows the title and that an agent minted it.
Live sessions, from a chat
On Pro, a page can become a private live session: invite people by email from the dashboard, and they watch the page change the moment Claude edits it, without reloading. They can drag a box around any part of the page and leave a comment. Back in Claude, "pick up the comments on that page" calls list_comments, and Claude can address each one with update_page and resolve_comment. A review loop with a client or a colleague, without a shared document, from the same chat.
What stays safe
Pages are public to anyone who has the link, and the tool description tells Claude never to publish secrets. HTML is sanitized (no scripts, forms or iframes) and served under a strict Content-Security-Policy, so a page cannot run code in a reader's browser. A connection can publish, update, list, pause and delete your pages; it cannot change your plan or pay for anything. Delete a page any time with delete_page or from the dashboard. More in Security.
FAQ
Which Claude apps does this work in? Claude.ai on the web, Claude Desktop (Mac and Windows) and the Claude mobile apps all share the same connector list. Add it once, use it everywhere you are signed in. For Claude Code, the terminal agent, see its own page.
Do I need a paid Claude plan? Custom connectors are an Anthropic feature; check their current plan page for which plans include them. MintPage itself is free to try and does not require a paid Claude plan on its side.
Claude lists MintPage but never uses it. Turn it on in the chat (+ → Connectors) or ask by name: "Use MintPage to publish this."
Can I use an API key instead of signing in? Yes: Claude.ai cannot set headers, so put the key in the URL, https://mintpage.ai/mcp/mp_…, with no authentication. Sign-in is simpler and keeps the key out of the connector settings.
Is there a size limit? Guest pages up to 250 KB, free accounts 1 MB, Pro ($5/month or $39/year) 2 MB. Markdown and sanitized HTML are both accepted.
Which tools does the connector expose? publish_page, update_page, list_pages, delete_page, get_page_stats, get_account, mint_page, pause_page, revoke_link, list_comments and resolve_comment. The full reference is in the docs.
