Host one HTML page without setting up hosting
Put one HTML or Markdown file online with a single request: no repo, no DNS, no account to try. Clean, sanitized pages with a shareable link.
You have one file and you need a link. Not a site, not a repo, not a build pipeline: a page someone can open. The usual routes (a static host, a storage bucket, a Pages deploy) all assume you want a project. MintPage assumes you want a URL.
What MintPage does
One HTTP request in, one hosted page out. Send HTML or Markdown, get back https://mintpage.ai/p/<slug>. No sign-up to try it: as a guest you can publish 3 pages a day and each lasts 24 hours. A free key makes that 10 live pages for up to 7 days; Pro ($5/mo or $39/yr) makes pages permanent, indexable, with custom slugs and no badge.
Publish an HTML file from the terminal
curl -sS https://mintpage.ai/api/publish \
-H 'Content-Type: application/json' \
-d "$(jq -n --arg html "$(cat index.html)" '{title:"My page", content:$html, format:"html"}')"
The answer is JSON with url and page_id (HTTP 201). Over the limit you get 429; a file larger than the plan's page size (250 KB as a guest, 1 MB with a free key, 2 MB on Pro) gets 413. With a key, add -H 'Authorization: Bearer mp_…'.
No terminal? Paste the HTML at mintpage.ai/new, check the preview, press Publish.
What survives in your HTML
Pages are cleaned every time they are served. Kept: inline style attributes, <style> blocks (no @import or url()), images, inline SVG, <details>, <progress> and <meter>, CSS grid, dark-mode media queries. Removed: scripts, forms, iframes, event handlers and external stylesheets. Anything removed is listed in warnings in the response, so you know before you share the link.
That rules out JavaScript widgets, but it covers the single-page use cases people actually have: a report, a mockup, a résumé, a landing page draft, a design review, a chart drawn in SVG, a clickable prototype where each button links to #screen-2. The showcase is built from exactly this subset.
Tailwind classes will not style anything, because the Tailwind runtime is a script. Write the CSS in a <style> block instead. Your CSS applies to the page's content box; to make it wider, set .mp-wrap { max-width: 1100px }.
Or let your AI do it
MintPage is also an MCP server at https://mintpage.ai/mcp, so Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code and the rest can publish the HTML they just wrote and hand you the link. One line in Claude Code:
claude mcp add --transport http mintpage https://mintpage.ai/mcp
Then: "Publish this as a page." Guides per app: Claude Code, ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code, Claude.ai & Desktop.
FAQ
Is it free? Yes to try: 3 pages a day as a guest, no account. A free key (sent by email from /start) raises that to 10 live pages for up to 7 days. Permanent pages are Pro, $5 a month or $39 a year.
Can I use my own domain or slug? Custom slugs are a Pro feature. Custom domains are not available today.
Are pages private? No. Anyone with the link can open a page, and there are no passwords. Guest and free pages are hidden from search engines; Pro pages can be indexed.
Can I update or delete the page later? With a key, yes: your agent (or a second request) can edit, pause or delete its pages. Guest pages simply expire after 24 hours.
What about JavaScript? Not executed. If your page needs scripts to work, MintPage is the wrong tool; if it needs to be readable and shareable, it is probably the right one.
